Great River Medical Center
(GRMC)
is a full-service hospital with 168 beds that is
committed to keeping quality health care closer to home
for the community. The hospital offers a 20-bed
senior care unit, a fitness and wellness center,
advanced cancer treatment, a sleep disorders laboratory,
progressive women's services, as well as a long list of
advanced services and technology.
Advanced cancer treatment,
including medical and radiation oncology, is available
at the Great River Cancer Center. From early
detection to radiation therapy, counseling and many
other services, Great River Cancer Center offers
comprehensive programs for treating cancer patients.
With the recent purchase of new equipment and plans for
expanding the Center's building, cancer patients and
their families will benefit even more.
The Women's Center at Great
River Medical Center offers a wide range of services,
classes, information, resources, diagnostics, treatment
and advanced medical care for women in one convenient
location. The center has advanced equipment and
monitoring systems, an infant security system, private
rooms, a lactation center and many other unique
amenities and services.
Great River Medical Center
is now offering a "Center for
Minimally Invasive
Surgery," and will be opening Bariatrics this
summer. Minimally invasive surgery offers
important advantages over traditional surgical
techniques, including reduced trauma to the body, less
post-operative pain, shorter recovery time and quicker
return to normal activities.
Great River Medical Center
also offers many other leading-edge services and
technology. With the recruitment of new physicians and the establishment of
new services,
Great River Medical Center will be able to provide
